EDUCATION: Education is the process of facilitating learning or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. The method of education includes teaching, training, story-telling, discussion, and directed research. It is all about learning skills and knowledge. In short, we can say, “EDUCATION is the passage of progress”.

QUALITY ORIENTED EDUCATION: Proper and good education is very important for all as it is the process of achieving skills, gaining knowledge, values beliefs, and moral habits. Apart from academic learning, it teaches the child to observe, understand and comprehend as it helps in developing the child as he /she grows up in building a better quality of life.

EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDIA: The education system in India is not so proper and not agile for a student to perceive their talent, skills, abilities, and based on his/her ability a student can focus on which course for the future, also cannot be estimated with this system. Our education doesn’t depend on the potential of a student, instead, it only follows rote teaching and this is the only prime eligibility for any student at any level of education in India. It seems like the educational system is producing bookworms instead of scholars.

IIT-JEE ( Indian Institute of TECHNOLOGY Joint Entrance Examination), being the second toughest examination of the world, which if cleared by an Indian engineering aspirant, can wish to enter any of the 7 most prestigious engineering institutes of India, the IIT’s. For clearing this examination, approximately 5 lakh students apply every year and write the entrance examination. But only 10,000 students clear the exam and get placements in the IIT’s. The problem is not about those 490000 students or what they will do..???? But the problem is this level of tougher exams is only for engineering students.

Even after clearing the toughest exam in the world, almost 80% of Indian engineering graduates are unemployed.  The reason behind this is the students lack the required programs, algorithm skills that are required to work in IT companies. In the US, 34.1% of graduates are able to write the correct codes, but in India, it’s only 9.9% of graduates can write the correct codes. According to a survey, 90% of Indian engineering graduates lack coding skills (i.e) the main key skill. A graduate who did B.Tech is not eligible for many IT companies.

In the field of management too, there had been significant turns. Before the managers were supposed to handle the activities within the country, but now the changing demands of employers and dissatisfaction among the youth, have been an issue, and “change in the system” is the only left solution. By completing MBA, a student is well versed with the theory curriculum but unable to apply it in a real work situation. Only if you have any specialization, then it gives you an edge over the graduate. The same is with other professional courses too such as law, medicine, etc…. where seats are eligible not on the basis of merit but are based on reservation. After a struggle of almost 10 years, this field gives you recognition. Apart from this, people who opt for commerce are not eligible for any company with a graduation degree. For them, the call-centers option is the best. Students opting for art and fashion, well let’s not even talk about them.

TED TALKS :

  1. The main reason behind the improper providing of education is the teacher-student ratio which is approximately 1:35, how a single teacher can concentrate on 35 kids at the same time.

  1. Our education system doesn’t make the students independent or secure because of improper learning techniques. The system has to become more agile so that the students can grow proficiently.

  1. With a little updated version, the education which is continuing in the schools and colleges needs a change and this is the only best solution. I studied (a+b)2 in the 2000 syllabus… and it’s still continuing…. no change from 2000…. even Google can’t say properly where we can apply this formula in real-life situations.

  1. The survey conducted from January to April 2020 shows that the United Kingdom comes out on top as having the most well-developed education system of 2020 in the world.

  1. Finland’s education system is considered one of the best in the world. A top performer since the first program (PISA) a Program for International Students Assessment. The education structure has been designed to offer citizens free education with no dead ends, while Canada tops the list as the most educated country in the world with 56.27%.

  1. Instead of teaching them the past Indian history, which if we search out on Google, we can get the knowledge, we should take initiative to teach them to create history. History is also necessary but making history, bang on..!!

  1. Apart from ENGINEERING, MEDICINE, LAW, CA, the other subjects are also to be improvised and should be made as important as the above courses. There should be scope in each and every course for the better development of the country.

  1. Introducing new programs, coding languages, and considering the new research and innovation which are happening in and around the world, I think we can make changes in our system. Looking at the present situation, CHANGE is the only best solution.

  1. Economically our country’s development, digitization introduction with all new technology, GST introduced, note denomination also successfully completed, even technically changes of new applications were introduced – like Paytm, Phone pe for cash-free India, BHARAT KE VEER for the army and many more great deeds are done. Now the next on the list should be EDUCATION because it’s not only a student’s future but also our country’s future.

Being a tutor, both offline and online will be a great new startup as a profession. Either you can start a coaching centre where you can teach students different subjects or you can be a certified teacher and teach the students online. Apart from this, being a tutor doesn’t mean that he /she can only be a teacher. You can even teach many different things like how to be an author, a digital marketing manager, various dance forms, musical
instruments and many more…

2. INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING (IPO):

IPO refers to the process of offering shares of a private corporation to the public in a new stock issuance. This (IPO) is not like any other website where trading is done on a very high-risk basis. It is just as simple as how you do, like, open a Demat account, purchases the shares and when you see the hike in the price, sell it. This business can be done with a minimum investment of 15000 rupees.

3. OPENING / FRANCHISE OF STALL:

This is also a small scale business. Many people have lost their jobs in this pandemic and many have opened their own stalls on the roadsides as street food to take care of their everyday expenses. If the investment is small, then you can opt for small stalls, but if the investment is a little high, then you can opt for franchisees of ice-cream parlours, small restaurants etc….

This is also a small scale business which is like working from home. We can make various items from home like cakes, pickles of different flavours, home-made chocolates and sell them directly to the customers or in any shops. The investment is very low and the profit earned is high.

5. SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES:

This is also another best small scale business in the field of industries. Bring back education

Bring back education

I am looking out for a school where the teachers will teach ENGINEERING as well as MUSIC, foreign sophistry as well as fashion designing, mechanics as well as to play musical instruments, horse-riding as well as jewelry designing, weather forecast as well as
mineralogy and many more arts as such Aromatics, enacting anecdotes, painting, weaving, metallurgy, cooking and knowledges like medical treatment through herbs, concealment of clothes, solving and making riddles etc… etc… etc…

How many of you are interested in sending your child to this school…???

I want to send my child to that school… How many of you are interested in sending your child to this school…??? You people might be thinking that am I a stupid or mad to speak out about such a school that gives all these facilities, because not even a single
school is giving all these knowledge as education to their students. But what if I say, “YES”, there were schools, who used to give all this knowledge as education to their students. I am talking about the ANCIENT INDIA’S “GURUKUL”, where the Guru’s used to
teach 64 forms of arts and 14 types of knowledge to the disciples. It was that time where the EDUCATION system was very agile and not like today’s education system which is very fragile. During that time, the teacher’s work on enforcing the discipline and today’s teachers work only on how the student should speak English properly with correct pronunciation. In the ancient education system, the disciples learn different languages, dialects, anecdotes, grammar, phonetics and phonology, recitation, and today’s education system teaches only English. Even the MATHS subject we are learning in English and to learn Maths, we need to join ABACUS classes. Hindi and Sanskrit are just subjects in the curriculum.

Ancient education

In the ancient education system, the Guru’s teaches mechanics, metallurgy, engineering, carpentry, astronomy, Ayurveda, astrology, forecasting the weather conditions, making predictions of the Heavenly voices, while in today’s education system, the teacher’s train in only one form of engineering. Even after studying engineering, 90% of students are unemployed and don’t get the job because they don’t know the coding languages.

Now-a-days, if a student wants to learn any musical instrument they have to go to a music school to learn that particular instrument. And if they want to learn singing they have to join another class to learn singing. But in ancient times, in “Gurukul”  itself, apart from the subject based education, the teachers trained the students in the music field too. The disciples in Gurukul learn singing, how to write and do plays, art of theatres, to play musical instruments including VEENA, FLUTE, SITAR too.

Can anyone believe that India is not only a country with many languages and a huge population, but it also has its own rich culture and heritage and also the best education system ever any country had so far, this is “ANCIENT INDIA”.  But if I speak about today’s education system, the kids have lost their childhood, freedom to think and the worst part is “freedom to live” – been lost. To learn Maths, they need ABACUS classes, to learn  Anecdotes they need special tutors who can teach them anecdotes in English.

school education

Apart from school education, they have tuitions to learn grammar, spellings, vocabulary. Then the kids have the extra classes to learn art and craft, music, physical activities, dance to compete with their friends, neighbours, siblings and even in their parents friend
circle. Then, when these kids will have freedom to think, to live and to take mental rest. Then, the phrase  “All work and no play will make Jack a dull boy”, will suit our kids. Eventhough Hindi being the national language of our country, an option is given between Hindi or any regional language to select and study…. why..??? If we see South India, maximum students opt for regional language and they don’t have any idea about our national language.

In our ancient India, the Guru’s teach their disciples even the art of conversation and how to maintain and know the way to communicate between male and female. In the form of knowledge, the Guru’s teach Arthasastra, Archery, medicine’s, all the four Vedas, treatise on statecraft, economic policy and military strategy. The education also teaches cooking skills, different modes to fight with animals like lamb, cocks, birds, the art of the use of lexicography and meters, the art of practically setting the coronet on the head, juggling, art of offerings, cleansing teeth and clothes, and much more. But today’s education teaches only how to pressurize the students.

Still today, I don’t know what is the purpose of (a+b)2 in anybody’s life, but this formula has been rote by many generations and even now if not changed, it will be rote by the upcoming generations too.

IMPORTANT : Now the time has come to upgrade the education system by bringing the
ancient education system, which might be the biggest challenge. But our kids will get the
best education, that too from one place.

THE STRUGGLES OF OUR LIFE

THE STRUGGLES OF OUR LIFE

Once upon a time, a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how to overcome all the problems and move ahead. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seems like if one problem is solved, another one is soon followed. She got irritated from her life and didn’t understand how she is going to make it.

Her father was a chef. He took her daughter to the kitchen. Then, he filled three pots with water and placed all the three pots on high fire. Once the pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot and ground coffee beans in the third one. After placing all the three items in the three pots, he started to boil them without saying even a single word to his daughter. The daughter also moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what his father was doing.

After 20 minutes, the father turns off all the three burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. Then, he took the eggs out and placed them in a plate and similarly he took the coffee out and put it in the cup. Turning to her daughter, he asked, ” what do you see?”  The daughter replied hastily, ” Potatoes, eggs and coffee”. The father says ,” Look closer, dear!”, and added, touch the potatoes. The daughter touched the potatoes and noted that the potatoes, after 20 minutes of boil turned soft.

The father then asks her daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed that the eggs are hard boiled eggs. Finally he asks her daughter to have a sip of the coffee. The rich aroma of the coffee brought a smile on her face. After all this, the daughter asked her father, What does this mean? The father explained that these potatoes, eggs and coffee beans had faced the same difficulty ( i.e boiled in the water for 20 minutes). But each one reacted differently.

The potato basically used to be hard, strong and unrelenting, but after boiling for 20 minutes in hot water, it became soft and weak. The egg used to be fragile, but after boiling for 20 minutes the outer shell becomes smooth and the inside of the egg becomes strong and hard. Likewise, the ground coffee beans are unique, but after they are put in the boiling water for 20 minutes, it changes the colour of the water and its aroma spreads around.

After explaining him in such a mind changing way, the father asked her daughter, “Dear! Which one are you?” When adversity knocks on your door how will you respond? Like a potato, an egg or coffee beans?…

THE KNOWLEDGE FROM THE STORY: In life, many things happen around us and even to us, but the only thing which truly matters is your choice of how you react to each and every situation and what you make out of it. Learn, adapt and choose to make the best of each experience.

Once, there lived a king. He loved animals and birds. As always, to meet the animals and birds one day he goes to a jungle. Suddenly the climate changed. It started thundering and the rain started heavily. Because of the heavy rain, the king was not able to see the way properly and he lost his way. Looking for a way, somehow the king reached the edge of the jungle. He sat below a huge tree because of hunger and thirst. Then the king saw three boys passing by. The king called the boys very softly. The three kids came near him. At that time, the king said, “I am very hungry and thirsty. Will I be able to get food and water from nearby?”

The kids replied, we have a house nearby, we will get some food and water for you, just wait for some moment. Then the kids ran and brought food and water for the king. The king was very happy with the behavior of the kids. He said you are very lovely kids. You satisfy my hunger and thirst and for this great work, I want to give you all a return gift. The king said, whatever you want you can ask me as your return gift. After thinking for a while, one of the kids said, ” Can you give me a bungalow and a car”? The king replied, Yes, sure! If you want this definitely you will get this.

At the time, the second kid said, I am very poor, I need a lot of money so that I can eat well, wear nice clothes and have lots of fun in life. The king replies with a smile, Yes, surely! I will give you a lot of wealth. After hearing this from the king the second boy started jumping because of excitement. Then the third child asked the king, “Will you fulfill my dream?” The king says, why not, definitely I will fulfill your wish. What do you want: money, wealth, or anything else? The third kid says, No, I don’t need the wealth. My dream is I want to study and become a scholar. For my dream to come true will you be able to do something? After listening to him, the King was very happy.

The king made all the proper arrangements for his Education. The boy was very hard-working and always comes first in the class. The time passed on and he became a big scholar. The king made him a Minister of the state. Everyone in the state used to respect him as he was a scholar. The boy who had asked for a car and a bungalow from the King, all of a sudden got flooded and washed away in the water. The second child did not do any kind of work because of the wealth received from the king. He used to spend all the money on unnecessary expenditures and enjoy his life. But how long will the money last?

After spending all the money on unnecessary expenses, one day his money got finished and he again turned poor. Both the friends were very sad and they came to meet his third friend who was a scholar and Minister of the state. The first two friends when they met his third friend, saw to him, “we realized that we made a very big mistake by asking car, bungalow, wealth from the king. Those all things got destroyed and right now we don’t have anything left. The scholar friend explains the other two, No one always has wealth. Money comes and goes. Only education stays with us. Our richness is not because of money but by education. Both his friends realized the mistake and decided that they both will study hard with their diligence and fill their life with happiness.
